Tamiami Records was founded in 2017 by me, Oscar Wallblom.

My first intension was to name the company “Trust Fund Records”. But the tax agency did not allow me – they claimed that the name was misleading.

So i named it after what i thought was a Native American heritage-location in SW Florida. Later i found out that the name had nothing to do with that. It was only a merge of Tampa and Miami. Tamiami Trail. The road that passes thru a dear place in my heart, Bonita Springs.
